Synopsis
In 1884, the famous painter Juan Manuel Blanes was commissioned to recover the face of a legend. His source are the notes of Larra, a Spanish spy who, 70 years earlier, would have tried to assassinate the leader José Artigas. That same leader who emigrated with a wandering and fugitive people, to camp on the banks of the Ayuí stream. Bypassing adversity and searching for their destinies, these three men will arrive at the same crossroads: the journey does not have an arrival point but only a starting point.
