On November 14, 1971, two helicopters collided causing a tragedy. The place: Kibón, in Montevideo’s rambla. That Sunday, a crowd was anxiously waiting to see the Sikorsky H-34 helicopters, which were planning -among other maneuvers- to load a jeep and move it from one side of the coast to the other. Within seconds, the quiet weekend scene turned into a nightmare: two helicopters collided, causing the propelled screws to injure and even kill several spectators. This is the first time that a Uruguayan documentary addresses these events, hidden for more than 40 years.
