Four Lagoons follows Nico Pauls on an intimate journey through the coastal lagoons of eastern Uruguay. Along the way, encounters with fishermen, forest guardians, and local inhabitants reveal different ways of living in a territory that is as fragile as it is fascinating. Through deep conversations and hypnotic landscapes, the film invites viewers to fall in love with these unique ecosystems and to reflect on the urgent need to preserve them before their essence is lost forever.
